WSU-Vancouver

WSU-Vancouver's course is a fun, easy to play 9 holes, with some elevation change (two downhill and one uphill) and the challenge of windy afternoons. It is a great course to hone your skills or take people new to disc golf. There are very few trees to worry about and most of the holes are under 300 feet. The course is well maintained with the fairways mowed short and the rough deep enough to make it difficult to find your disc (at least in the spring). There is a great walking trail around the course and the campus is beautiful, with views of Mt. St. Helens and Mt. Hood.

The biggest downside to playing WSU-Vancouver is the parking. During school hours you may have to pay for parking. I find the two best spots for parking are in the first parking lot on the right as you enter the campus and below the course at the turn-around. There are meters along the east side of the upper parking lot and the course is just a short walk down hill from there. The turn-around parking is all the way through the campus and down the hill below the course. There are no meters here, and I am not sure of parking regulations for that street. I have only parked there in the evenings so I don't know if it fills up during school hours or not.
